We got excellent value for our money with exceptional food and a warm, luxurious room with a stunning view of the river. The staff treated us like royalty, giving us a personal tour of the main building and a glass of champagne upon arrival.
Menu for breakfast could have offered more options to choose from.

The hotel's location next to the river was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of flowing water and the view of the picturesque river from my room was a truly magical experience. Moreover, being surrounded by the beauty of the forest added to the serene atmosphere of the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff ensured that everything was well-maintained throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including the outdoor dining areas and the hot spa pools which allowed me to relax and unwind amidst the stunning surroundings. The breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries.

The value we got for our money at this lodge was outstanding, and the room itself was impeccable. The location was lovely, especially for those who enjoy fishing. But what truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was a wider selection of beverages to choose from, like dark grape juice or alcohol-free wine.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at a stunning lodge just outside of Taupo, NZ. The location in Martinborough was absolutely breathtaking, with picturesque views of the river and immaculate grounds. Kerry, the GM, personally showed us around the lodge and even gave us a fascinating history lesson in a mini rainforest. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a beautiful riverside view. The bathroom was luxurious and had a gorgeous private spa-like garden. The service was outstanding, with well-trained and friendly staff members. The breakfast overlooking the river was a magical way to start the day. The lodge also had wonderful facilities such as outdoor dining areas and hot spa pools.
The only small disappointment was the limited drink options, as they did not have grape juice or dark grape juice available.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a luxurious lodge by the river. The location was absolutely stunning, with lush vegetation providing privacy and tranquility. The room was spacious, with floor-to-ceiling French doors offering breathtaking views of the river. The bathroom was well-appointed, with separate his and hers sinks and a large tub. The service was impeccable, with the wait staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the fresh canapes served with cocktails were a delightful touch.
The food was a letdown. The tasting menus for lunch and dinner were hit or miss, with some dishes being overly sweet.

During our stay over Christmas, we were blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Situated near a magnificent waterfall, each room offered breathtaking views of the river. The grounds were meticulously maintained, with plenty of charming spots to explore. The international staff were dedicated and provided excellent service. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional food, which was the best we had on our trip. The dining options were plentiful, with the choice to eat inside or outside. Additionally, we loved the personalized menu recital, where dietary preferences were taken into account.
One of the downsides of our stay was the musty smell in our room. Although our room was quiet and dark, it lacked a fireplace, which may not have been available in our room category.

As young people, we absolutely loved the serene and beautiful setting. Our cabin by the river made us feel like we were in our own private paradise. The outdoor dining areas were perfect for enjoying meals surrounded by nature. The outdoor hot spa pools were a delightful way to relax and unwind.
Felt immediately at home, no complaints whatsoever.

I stayed in a Junior Lodge Suite, which had a stunning view of a river running through perfectly manicured rolling lawns near Huka Falls. The room was spacious, with floor to ceiling French doors that allowed for plenty of natural light. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with modern fixtures. The wait staff at the lodge were absolutely faultless, providing exceptional service throughout my stay. The breakfast offerings were delicious, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The facilities, such as the library and trophy room, added to the overall charm of the lodge.
The pool area was in need of some attention and was not kept as clean as expected.
